I found out their DNS info and got them to assign my modem a single (public) static IP Address. Did it still pop up the same error message when you connect failed? What can I expect with telnet? The RDC worked flawlessly in the previous Dell. You may get a better answer to your question by starting a new discussion.
In the menu> internet> remote desktop viewer. Obviously none of these 3 is the problem here. Why did only the English adopt, evolve and use the longbow en masse in war? It said that my user was already configured to access the machine remotely, but I went ahead and added myself anyway, and as soon as I did, voila!! (as they say)
