Your instructions worked like a charm. Naturally to complete this enlightening cycle, need to know the preventitive strategy..if not 100% to a certain extent! Trying to uninstall ie8, couldn't; trying to uninstall sp3, couldn't; registry changes; no-add-in start up; safe mode; etc.
